Pingyao

"Seeing Pingyao" is a large-scale real-life performing arts project, first of this kind in northern China. "Seeing Pingyao Again" Show organically integrated the elements of the ancient city and the performance itself. Performance Time: 2PM and 7 PM (no shows on Monday). Each performance is 90 minutes (temporary additions during tourist season - 10.30, 16:00, 21:00). Taiyuan Wusu International Airport 太原武宿国际机场 Airport of Taiyuan City is the closest airport to Pingyao (100 km, 1,5 hour by taxi or take a train D1959 (30 minutes on the way) from Taiyuan South Railway Station 太原南站 to Pingyao Ancient City Railway Station 平遥古城站, then take bus 108 (45 minutes on the way, 12 km) or take a taxi (30 minutes, RMB 20).
